The SET 2023 examination, specifically the first test, is scheduled to take place today, May 6th. It is important to note that the admit card for the second test of SET 2023 was released on May 3rd, while the admit card for the first test was issued on April 25th. The registration window for SET 2023 closed on April 16th, 2023, which was extended from the previous deadline of April 12th, 2023. Notably, the registration process for SET 2023 commenced on January 11th, 2023.

It is noteworthy that the SET 2023 examination will be conducted in the computer-based test mode, comprising of two slots. Furthermore, the SET application process was entirely online. It is essential for candidates to keep these details in mind when planning for SET 2023, especially for the second test, which is scheduled to occur on May 14th.

SET, or the Symbiosis Entrance Test, is an entrance examination organized by Symbiosis International (Deemed University) to facilitate admission to various undergraduate programs offered by Symbiosis institutes. The SET exam serves as a gateway to academic disciplines such as Management, Law, Engineering, Economics, Mass Communication, Computer Studies, and Liberal Arts. As of 2023, the application form, admit card and result for the SET exam will only be available online. Therefore, there is no provision for an offline application process. Prospective students are required to register and submit their applications online within the stipulated deadline to be considered for admission to their preferred undergraduate programs.

Eligibility Criteria for SET Exam 2023

The Symbiosis Entrance Test (SET) is a popular entrance examination conducted by Symbiosis International (Deemed) University for admission to various undergraduate programs. Interested candidates are required to meet the SET eligibility criteria 2023, which are as follows:

1. Academic Qualification: Candidates must have passed Class 12 or an equivalent examination in the relevant streams from a recognized board or university with a minimum aggregate score of 50%. In the case of candidates belonging to SC/ST category, a relaxation of 5% is provided, and they must have secured at least 45% marks.
2. Appearing Candidates: Candidates who are currently in Class 12 or awaiting their Class 12 results are also eligible to apply for the SET Exam. However, they must submit a passing certificate before the deadline.
3. Equivalence Certificate: Candidates who have completed Class 12 or an equivalent examination from any Foreign Board must obtain an equivalence certificate from the Association of Indian Universities (AIU).

It is essential for all the candidates to meet the above mentioned SET eligibility criteria 2023 to apply for the exam. Failure to fulfill any of the mentioned criteria will result in the rejection of the candidate’s application.

1. User Profile Creation: Candidates need to create a new user profile by filling out the SET exam registration form with accurate details such as name, date of birth, gender, email ID, phone number, etc.
2. Document Upload: Applicants must upload the necessary documents, such as a recent photograph and signature, in the prescribed format during the application process.
3. Registration Confirmation: The registration process will be complete after confirmation via a one-time password (OTP) sent to the registered mobile number.
4. Application Fee Payment: Candidates must pay the application fee through online modes such as credit/debit cards, internet banking, or UPI.
5. SET Application Form: Candidates are required to fill out the SET application form with the necessary details such as category, test centers, institutions, etc.
6. Institute Fee Payment: Candidates must pay the institute fee before the deadline and take a printout of the complete application form and payment receipt for future reference.
