The Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) is a gateway for engineering graduates who wish to pursue their Master’s degree at reputed colleges or secure employment in PSUs. The GATE 2023 Examination has no age limit. It allows candidates to appear irrespective of their age. GATE 2023

The GATE (Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering) Exam is held annually by one of the eight prestigious institutes comprising seven IITs and IISc. While there is no upper age limit for appearing in the GATE 2023 exam, candidates need to fulfill certain minimum qualifications. The GATE 2023 exam is a single-shift online Computer-Based Exam and covers a total of 29 Engineering branches.

  • The GATE 2023 Result will be declared on March 16, 2023.
  • The results will be available for viewing on the official GATE website: gate.iitk.ac.in 2023.
  • The scorecard can be downloaded only by those who have qualified for the GATE Exam.
  • The scorecard for GATE 2023 was released on March 21, 2023.
  • The GATE 2023 scorecard is valid for three years.

How to Check GATE 2023 Result?

Here are some ways to rewrite the given points:

  1. To check your GATE 2023 Result, visit the official website: gate.iitk.ac.in 2023.
  2. On the website’s results page, click on the “GATE Result” link.
  3. You will be redirected to the GOAPS portal for GATE. Enter your login details on this page.
  4. After entering your details, click on the “Submit” button to proceed.
  5. The GOAPS candidate dashboard for GATE will open. Click on the “Results” section.
  6. Your GATE 2023 Result will be displayed on the screen.

GATE 2023 Cut off

GATE 2023 cut off has been declared by IIT Kanpur along with the declaration of result for each of the 29 papers on March 16, 2023. Candidates can check branch-wise GATE qualifying marks below.

Do's & Don'ts in GATE Exam

Do’s

  • To ensure a smooth & hassle-free experience, it is recommended that you arrive at the GATE 2023 exam center at least 90 minutes before the start of the entrance exam.
  • To enter the GATE 2023 exam center at IIT Kanpur, you must bring a printed copy of your admit card and a valid ID proof. It is a mandatory requirement & failure to comply may result in denial of entry.
  • Prior to the start of the examination, candidates are able to log in and access the instructions up to 20 minutes in advance.
  • It is advisable to bring your own pen, pencil, transparent water bottle, and pocket-sized hand sanitizer when traveling or going out in public.

Don’ts

  • Please refrain from bringing any electronic devices, such as personal calculators, into the examination center. Additionally, charts, tables, papers, books, sheets, and heavy ornaments are also prohibited inside the examination hall. This policy is in place to ensure fairness and prevent any form of cheating during the exam.
  • To ensure fairness and integrity in the GATE 2023 exam, it is imperative to follow the guidelines. Any breach of the guidelines, such as impersonation or violation of the CODE OF CONDUCT, will result in the cancellation of your application and may lead to legal action. Therefore, it is crucial to adhere to these guidelines to maintain the credibility of the exam.
