NATA (National Aptitude Test in Architecture) is a national level entrance examination conducted by the Council of Architecture (CoA) for admission to undergraduate architecture programs in various colleges and institutions across India.

The NATA exam tests the aptitude of candidates in the field of architecture and measures their drawing and observation skills, sense of proportion, aesthetic sensitivity, and critical thinking ability. It is a computer-based test (CBT) and comprises two parts: Part A and Part B.

Part A of the exam is an online test consisting of multiple-choice questions (MCQs) and will test candidates on Mathematics, General Aptitude, and Drawing skills.

Part B of the exam is a drawing test that assesses candidates’ ability to draw and sketch. The drawing test is conducted on a drawing sheet and will require candidates to create drawings based on the given instructions.

The NATA exam is usually conducted twice a year, in April and July/August. However, the exact dates and other details for the 2023 exam are not yet available. It is advisable to keep a lookout on the official website of the Council of Architecture for updates on the same.
