GATE 2023
The GATE (Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering) Exam is held annually by one of the eight prestigious institutes comprising seven IITs and IISc. While there is no upper age limit for appearing in the GATE 2023 exam, candidates need to fulfill certain minimum qualifications. Do's & Don'ts in GATE Exam
Do’s
- To ensure a smooth & hassle-free experience, it is recommended that you arrive at the GATE 2023 exam center at least 90 minutes before the start of the entrance exam.
- To enter the GATE 2023 exam center at IIT Kanpur, you must bring a printed copy of your admit card and a valid ID proof. It is a mandatory requirement & failure to comply may result in denial of entry.
- Prior to the start of the examination, candidates are able to log in and access the instructions up to 20 minutes in advance.
- It is advisable to bring your own pen, pencil, transparent water bottle, and pocket-sized hand sanitizer when traveling or going out in public.
Don’ts
- Please refrain from bringing any electronic devices, such as personal calculators, into the examination center. Additionally, charts, tables, papers, books, sheets, and heavy ornaments are also prohibited inside the examination hall. This policy is in place to ensure fairness and prevent any form of cheating during the exam.
- To ensure fairness and integrity in the GATE 2023 exam, it is imperative to follow the guidelines.
